Sister Jude was 18 when she was studying during her freshmen year at Towson University, where she aspired to be an Oncologist Nurse Practitioner and completed one semester with top grade. On Monday, February 19th, 2018 she returned to her Creator after battling cancer. This is scholarship has been set up in her memory as a continuous charity to support future nurses, oncologists, life scientists, bioengineers and healthcare practitioners dedicating their careers to finding cures, or treating patients suffering from cancer at any approved educational institute. The scholarship also funds individuals seeking nursing certifications at non-academic institutions.

Donations to the Jude Jawhar fund will provide students pursuing a nursing degree who meet eligibility requirements tuition assistance for up to six credits per semester per student. All donations are tax deductible.
